Join us in our journey to give back!
Thank you for making 2014 a successful year for Ricochet Wearable Art! Because of your support, we were able to expand to a larger store space and now have more room to increase the educational opportunities offered at Ricochet.
Ricochet’s goal for 2015 is to open doors even further and raise funds to provide more resources to enhance the lives of our community’s children and young adults. Help us spread the love this Valentines season by donating to provide access to innovative opportunities for our youth! Through fundraising, we hope to give sponsorships to those unable to afford classes, sewing supplies including machines, and transportation for students and interns who do not have the means. We would also greatly appreciate it if you could spread the word to non-profits or other foundations that would like to participate in Ricochet’s expansion of educational opportunities. More about our internship programs can be seen at: http://www.ricochetwearableart.net/internships.html
As an intern at Ricochet, I have greatly benefitted from my experiences and believe providing more opportunities for youth will enhance individual’s lives and the community. -Morgan Murphy
Although Ricochet is not a non-profit organization, we prioritize giving back to the community and our supporters. Jill has dedicated her life journey to establishing a creative community and has funded the internship program through retail sales and teaching classes. While Jill knows she will eventually reach the goal of providing sponsorships and assistance to those in need, with continued help of the community, these goals will be accomplished much faster. One way we have started to reach this goal is through a donation jar right under our desk to collect funds to sponsor students and provide interns with necessary materials for a successful 2015! Your donation will not go without receiving in return and for every donation $5 and up, you will receive a raffle ticket with a chance of winning a $25, $50, or $100 gift card drawn during our March 5th Happy Hour. While our donation jar will be ongoing, every month Ricochet will be creating new ways of raising funds and we welcome your ideas. Stay tuned for fun ways to support the community!
To make a greater impact on the community, we also have a Crowdfunding & Sponsorship option on our website at http://www.ricochetwearableart.net/crowdfundingsponsorships.html. Although we would love if you could visit the store, if you are unable to but would still like to donate, you can donate through the Crowdfunding & Sponsorship page using PayPal. We’re also encouraging our customers to sponsor a student directly if they personally know someone who could benefit from the programs offered at Ricochet Wearable Art. All sponsors receive recognition on the Ricochet Wearable Art website!
We look forward to your continued support throughout 2015 to help us reach our goal of providing more educational and personal growth opportunities for those in need.
Whether it’s through supporting our local artists by spreading the word to your families and friends or ordering our famous empanadas made by David Sandoval we are excited for a year of enhancing the community through creativity and sharing the love!
Thank you for your contributions!
