APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS
Develop your own clothing line in this 1, 2, or 3-month intensive sewing and apprenticeship course! Work along award winning designer Jill Pillot and receive private instruction from an industry professional. Combining two- or four weekly sewing classes with 180 apprenticeship hours per month, you will learn invaluable skills in sewing, business, event coordination, marketing and photography and receive a Ricochet Certification of completion. Take the Sewing Apprenticeship and begin to develop your own collection while also cultivating your sewing skills as you create one-of-a-kind pieces set for retail. Sign up for the Business or Marketing Apprenticeship and gain hands-on experience in the business while learning how to advertise using different social media platforms. Become an Event Coordination Apprentice and learn how to coordinate a fashion show, including styling models, communicating with vendors, and advertising the event. Have the opportunity to expand your portfolio by becoming the in-house photographer.
Sewing Apprenticeship

Business Apprenticeship
Set your own schedule This Apprenticeship focus shifts to the business side of the industry, with hours dedicated to retail and learning how to run a small business. You will run Ricochet as if it was your own. Meet with local designers/artists of Ricochet while shadowing Jill in the buying process. Learn marketing through advertising for the store. Event Coordination Apprenticeship

As an event coordinator Apprentice, you will work with vendors, and other event coordinators as well as create advertisements for events. Marketing Apprenticeship
Set your own schedule The Marketing Apprenticeship is heavily focused on the social media development of Ricochet. Keep clients up to date on upcoming events by creating advertisements and updating the Ricochet website. Find new ways to advertise the store and all the programs offered at Ricochet. Communicate with clients and students by phone and email about classes and programs. Photography Apprenticeship
Set your own schedule You will need to have your own tools (camera and software) for this program. Build your portfolio and become Ricochet's in-house reporter/photographer. Take photos of the shop/merchandise. Meet other local artists, models, and photographers. Organize a photoshoot with our models. Focuses may include: · Marketing · Editorials · Advertising · Photography/Styling · Graphic Design/Publication · Events/Fashion Shows · Going Behind the Scenes · Collaborating with other interns to build your portfolio |
